Remembering Councillor David Clapp
Councillor David Clapp passed away in January 2025, he was a dedicated member of the parish council

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Councillor David Clapp. David has been a dedicated stalwart on our Parish Council. He has been Chairman, vice chairman many times, seeing through topics such as potential mineral extraction, Affordable Housing site, Traveller Site, Fairie Tale Farm development, and most recently the Solar Farm.
He was a member of our Audit Committee, a group that works out how the Parish Council’s money will be spent. He represented the parish council on other groups such as the Safer Neighbour Association and Warwickshire Association of Parish Councils.
David attended numerous site meetings to ensure a fair and balanced local view was achieved. He was passionate about local issues and was a well known resident of Haseley Knob having run The Croft guest house and caravan site for many years. He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with his family.
